What am I actually buying?
A nontransferable seat in FOLD. Every seat collects two things from every FOLD launch: 10% of its token supply, and a share of its trading fees (paid in SOL). Both stay locked until you burn your seat.
Where do the trading fees come from?
Every trade on a FOLD launch pays a 1% fee. Meteora keeps 20% of it, the creator gets 40%, and FOLD's 40% goes entirely to seat holders. That's 0.4% of all trading volume on every FOLD launch, collected as SOL and split between active seats.
How does the auction work?
Seats are sold in a daily Dutch auction, paid in SOL. The price starts high and falls until someone buys. Final auction parameters will be published before launch.
Can I claim and keep my seat?
No. Claiming and exiting are the same action. Burning your seat releases your collected allocations and ends your right to future drops.
What if I stop being active?
Once a seat meets the protocol's inactivity rules, anyone can burn it for a bounty. Its unclaimed drops go to the remaining seats. Exact activity requirements will be published before launch.
Is FOLD live yet?

What does the waitlist do?
It puts you on the list to hear when seat auctions open. It doesn't reserve a seat or connect to your wallet. We only store the wallet address and X handle you type in.
